Ardas has been a Reiki practitioner, using Reiki healing energy since 1994. Currently she offers hourly Reiki Healing Sessions and teaches Reiki First & Second Degrees in private and semi-private workshops. Ardas offers private and group instruction in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation.
Ardas began her journey with the Healing arts in 1994 when she received her first Reiki treatment. It was during this first 15 minute session that she decided that she wanted to learn this technique, become a Reiki Master and share this wonderful healing modality with others.
Ardas completed Reiki First and Second Degree Training in January 1995. In June of 1995 she completed Reiki Third Degree Certification Training for Personal Mastery. In 1997 & 1998, she received additional Reiki training and treatment experience through the Professional Reiki Practitioner Certification Program. In 2003, after eleven months of intensive training, she completed her Reiki Master Certification for Reiki First and Second Degrees. She received all of her Reiki training through the teachings of The Healing Source, L.L.C. and was personally attuned only by Sangeet Kaur Khalsa, Reiki Master-Trainer of The Healing Source, L.L.C.
Also in 1995, Ardas discovered the healing benefits of Kundalini Yoga and began to follow a daily practice of yoga and meditation as part of a personal daily discipline. In early 2003, she became certified to teach Kundalini Yoga internationally and founded Ardas Healing Connection, llc. She is currently working toward Level II Certification. Ardas teaches a gentle yoga for all levels and ages, with an emphasis on mantra & meditation.
Over the years, she has placed her own spiritual journey in the fore-front. Ardas applies this same focus – of attaining balance and peace within – to her personal life. Ardas is a Healer, using the tools that include a daily spiritual practice of yoga and Reiki. She believes in living her life purposefully by finding positive solutions, using daily affirmations, positive self-talk, and being of service to others.
Ardas holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio; a Master of Science degree in Natural Health; and has completed coursework towards a Doctorate Degree in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health, Birmingham, Alabama. She has worked in University teaching hospitals as a technician in its Microbiology Department and as a Laboratory Research Associate in DNA Research and in eye research at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco, CA.
Ardas lives a holistic lifestyle. She loves Reiki and Yoga and the satisfaction of teaching her skills and volunteering her time. She currently enjoys being a part of bringing some of her knowledge and experience of the healing arts to the allopathic hospital setting. Currently, Ardas volunteers as a Reiki Therapist at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Glendale, AZ and offers Reiki certification workshops to its staff and volunteers.
Additionally, Ardas is a member of the Volunteer Selection Committee at Banner Estrella Hospital and is an instructor of a Relaxation Education class offered to Banner elective surgery patients. Ardas is an active member of the newly created Integrative Therapies Discipline Team – responsible for developing various therapies within the Banner facilities system-wide.
